By tram
The Rennweg stop is right on the corner of Waldkircher Straße. From the city centre (Bertoldsbrunnen or the main station) it is only a few minutes' ride towards Zähringen. The stops inside the Güterbahnhof quarter (Zollhallenplatz, Eugen-Martin-Straße) are also a quick walk away.

By bike
Freiburg is a cycling city, and the Güterbahnhof quarter is linked to the cycle path along the railway. From the city centre it is a good ten minutes north along Habsburgerstraße or beside the tracks. There are bike stands at the door.
On foot
From Herdern and Zähringen it is a short stroll. From the main station it is about two kilometres, so roughly 25 minutes if you want to stretch your legs before the first pint.
By car
Via the B3 (Zähringer Straße) or Waldkircher Straße. The A5 motorway (Freiburg-Mitte exit) is about five kilometres away. Parking in the quarter is limited; if you are planning a pint, the tram is the better idea anyway.
